One-Time Bottle Drives - A one tiem bottle drive is a fast, easy way to raise money for your organization. Fundraising tips:
* Make your expectations clear. Is participation mandatory, Voluntary? What time commitment is expected?
* Make it fun, have a contest! Which team, class, or grade level can collect the most cans and bottles? Reward the "winners" with something special but simple like a pizza party.
* Pick a date, and set a goal. Make sure your schedule does not interfere with other activates, games, practices or events your group is participating in.
* Plan ahead, what geographical area you will cover? Make sure you have enough adult drivers lined up.
* Choose a convenient staging area for dropping off. Greenblott metal will provide a Roll-off container for hauling bottles & cans at no charge.
* Reserve your date with Greenblott metal, particularly if you plan to use our truck and driver to help you transport your collected containers. Greenblott metal co. reserves our trucks on a first comes first serve basis only.
* Plan to have your bottle drive the same time every year, people will come to expect it and save their bottles and cans for your group.
* Hand out fliers in your targeted neighborhoods a week to ten days before your bottle drive.
* Assign specific areas to participants: Make sure children never go alone.
Greenblott Metal will supply a Roll-off container at no charge for your fundraiser - Simply collect your bottles and cans, place them in the container and we will take it away. Payment for your fundraiser will be sent promptly. We pay 6 cents for all New York State deposit Bottle & cans received from fund raisers.
